Fautor Winery is one of Moldova’s most award-winning family-owned wineries, founded in 1997. Its vineyards and production facilities are located in the south of the country in the village of Tigech (Leova District), within the protected geographical region of Valul lui Traian. The brand name comes from the Latin word “fautor,” which translates to “creator” or “patron,” and the logo—a double “F” within a shield—symbolizes family values (Familia Fautor) and a guarantee of quality.
