Fujimi - Discover a Blended Japanese Whisky Inspired by the Philosophy of the Samurai

Fujimi means "immortality" in Japanese - a name chosen with intention. The whisky is called "The 7 Virtues of the Samurai" and is built around the seven principles of the Bushido code: courage, integrity, honesty, loyalty, respect, compassion, and honour. That philosophy runs through everything - from the samurai label to the carefully balanced liquid inside. The house behind it, Matsui Shuzo, has been rooted in Japan since 1910.

Fujimi is a blend of malt and grain whiskies, matured in heavily charred American oak casks. In the glass: golden colour, fruity notes of apple, pear, and baked banana, vanilla and honey from the oak, with a subtle layer of spice - white pepper, ginger, cinnamon. The finish is creamy and fruity. A smooth, approachable whisky that works beautifully neat or as the base for a classic Highball.
