Carlevana

Carlevana Winery (Carlevana) is one of the most iconic brands in the modern history of Moldovan winemaking, known as a leading technological pioneer and the first premium brand of independent Moldova. The company’s production facilities and extensive vineyards are located in the village of Mereni Noi (New Mereni) in the Novoaneni District, just 25 km from Chisinau. The winery’s history dates back to 1959 as part of the “Moldvinprom” system, but its transformation into a modern, innovative brand took place at the turn of the 1990s and 2000s. Today, the company is part of the large Orhei-Vit holding and is experiencing its own “Renaissance.”
