Hofbräu München — Discover Authentic Bavarian Beer in Chisinau

Behind Hofbräu München stand over 400 years of Bavarian brewing tradition - and you can taste it in every sip. Founded in 1589 by decree of Duke Wilhelm V of Bavaria, it served for centuries as the royal court's exclusive supplier and the only producer of wheat beer in Bavaria. Today the brewery remains state property of Bavaria and brews by the same principles: its own artesian water from 150 metres deep, select malt, hops from Hallertau, and recipes unchanged for centuries.

The Hofbräu range covers classic Bavarian styles - from the golden, refreshing Original to the creamy wheat beer with notes of banana and fresh bread, and the deep Dunkel with hints of caramel and roasted malt. Every variety is brewed in strict accordance with the German purity law, the Reinheitsgebot. And it was this very brewery that gave the world one of its most beloved festivals - Oktoberfest.
